June 2011 - Family trip #1 to the NC Zoo

We took a trip to the NC Zoo before Nanny left Dobson this summer.  It was a long day but everyone had a great time!!!

June 2011 - Stevie turns 2!!!!!

It is sooooo hard to belive that Stevie is already 2!!!!  We had a huge party with all of our friends and family. 

Stevie tried to help me with her cake.....

Can you tell Stevie LOVES Olivia?!?!?!  I didn't do too badly on the cake decorations this year!!!!

Stevie's big present from us was a water table....it was a HUGE hit !!!!

Stevie also got a kitchen set that has been a lot of fun too....

May 2011- Dance Recital and Baseball

Your eyes are not deceiving you....my bright idea this year was to make a memory with Sarryn and take a dance class with her.... it was definitely an adventure!!!!  We didn't do too badly :)  If I don't ever hear the sone "It's raining Men" again, it will be tooooo soon!!!!!

Millennium once again went to see the Winston-salem Dash baseball game.  the whole family had a great time!!!

Stevie espeically liked the fireworks!!!!!

April 2011 = Sports

April means more sports at our house....Steve finished up Club wrestling, David played on a SUPER soccer team at Fisher River.....

..... and Sarryn played on a great softball team......Stevie was a great spectator for everything.... she didn't mind where we had her, she just watched it all!!!!

I have decided that I NEVER know what Stevie is going to do next.....  She LOVES the chair that she got from Nanny for Christmas.... whether it is sleeping in it .....

..... or just making herself comfortable while she watches a movie....

She LOVES to pl;ay on the "pooter"....

.....playing in the recyclables is also a favorite activity.  We actually had to put up a gate to keep her out of the pantry because she spent soooooo much time playing with the trash!!!!

March - Club Wrestling, Sarryn's birthday, and Easter

March normally means a lot of sports at our house.  Steve and David went to a club tournament at Parkland High School.  David was excited to get a medal!!!!  I LOVE to watch my boys at a wrestling tournament!!!!!

March also means Sarryn's birthday....11 this year!!!  She had a sleepover with her buddies from school... I think everyone had a great time.....

We also celebrated Easter in March.  This was a great Ester.  I joined our church  got baptized.  We had a great family dinner back at the house afterward. 

Febraury 2011 - The Circus and Ice Hockey

February in the braune household normmaly means three things.... the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Baily Circus, Penguins vs. Hurricanes Hockey and the NC State wrestling tournament.   Steve has taken a small break from coaching high school wrestling, but still went and watched some of his former Millennium wrestlers do well.   We took Stevie and Nanny to the circus this year and everyone had a BALL!!!  It is so much fun seeing a small child watch the spectacle of the circus..

The Penguin vs. Hurricane ice hockey game has become a yearly event for Steve and I.  It is where Steve proposed on the jumbotron....This year was Stevie's first time.... I was surprised that she was able to enjoy the entire event.
