Spring Pictures... Round 1

Steve put his great photography skills to work this weekend and got some great pictures of all the kids....

Using my new trick....

Stevie is now using her new trick in other parts of the house. Steve spent Sunday night building the perfect shelf for us to get the DVD player and cable box out of Stevie's reach. It sits between the stereo and the TV. He also got the gate installed at the top of the steps to keep Stevie from rolling down the steps. The gates will go up shortly across Sarryn and David's doors to keep her out of their rooms and away from their tiny toys. he also had to install plant hangers in the beach room to get some of the plants off the floor. We are definitely having to put a rush on the baby proofing....

My swing finally came!!!!

We got to go pick up the last rocker and Stevie's new swing. Steve wanted something that matched the rest of the furniture on the porch and I think he was absolutely right. The swing looks great and she loves to use it...now if we could just get rid of the swarms of carpenter bees that seem to love our house it would be perfect....

She looks so comfy....notice that she has her own drink holder....can't wait to see a sippy cup in there...

Standing up in the play pen in our room is Stevie's new trick. Pam said it surprised her the first time she walked in and saw her standing there. The only problem is that she can get up pretty easily but getting back down is an entirely different story...

Stevie's First Easter

My mom filled eggs this year and unfortunately my dad had to hang them in the rain...


... but the candy sure was good....

We had a visit from the Easter "B" bunny

Sarryn's 10th party

We had Sarryn's 10th brithday party this weekend. Lots of people came. Aunt Brenda got a picture with Stevie....
Poppy grabbed Stevie out in what we call the Beach room...

I'm a big girl....

She is getting to look soooo big...We had just gotten home from church and had to snap a few pictures. This is a dress that a co-worker gave to me at the baby shower. She looks so cute in it.

My daddy always makes sure that I look like a cool kid.... I LOVE the pink sunglasses that he got for me....

New swing and rocker....

We finally went to pick out our new proch swing and rockers....Ithink they are gorgeous. We could only manage to get the swing, one rocker and table back this trip. The man who makes them is going to try to design a matching swing for Stevie. Of course, we had to stop at Dairy Queen on the way back. I don't know if Stevie is more interested in the rocker or the onion ring that Nanny was eating...

She keeps getting stuck under the end tables.....it is kind of funny to watch....

She thinks it is fun until she realizes that she is stuck....

Then she desperately tries to escape....

Saint Patrick's Day

My daddy thinks he is a lepruchaun....he is soooo silly...

All three kids in their St. Patty's day wear.... definitely didn't want anyone getting pinched....

On the rare occasion that we all get to sleep in, Stevie likes to lay in bed with her daddy and read a good book.....

My new chair cover....

Stevie's Uncle Michael got her the neatest chair cover...It protects her from all the yucky germs that are on carts and highchairs... She loves it.

She has been chewing on her fingers a lot lately... must be getting more teeth.

She was definitely in a good mood today....

Going for a walk with Nanny....

This picture is crazy looking, but Stevie loves to chew on this toy exactly this way all the time. All we can figure out is that it must feel good on her gums....

Aunt Shelly's visit

Aunt Shelly came for a visit in late February. We went and had pictures made in Winston at a new place. We call them the "bunny pics" and they are awesome... I will put them on next...


She loves her ever saucer that she got for Christmas...look at those teeth!!!

Oyster Fest at Ben's

We went to Ben and Mary Catherine's for their annual Oyster Fest. We were getting ready to go and I had to get Stevie ready. I had jsut gotten her up from a nap and needed a place to sit her. The sink fit just perfectly....


I think Stevie's Uncle Ben and Uncle Matt like to pose for pictures....I think everyone had a great time eating oysters....
